Retirement Planner - Phoenix, AZ

Job Description: This role is a REMOTE job, but does require you to currently live within 90 miles of the Greater Phoenix, AZ area. Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position. The Role As a Retirement Planner within Fidelity’s Tax-Exempt Market Planning & Advice (TEMPA) team, you will educate and support workplace retirement plan participants by increasing awareness of retirement readiness and helping individuals take meaningful steps toward achieving their long-term financial goals. This role is responsible for guiding participants through their employer-sponsored retirement plans, including educating them on plan benefits, employer matching contributions, and investment strategies, while helping them make informed decisions about their retirement savings. The Retirement Planner conducts needs-based conversations to identify participant goals, uncover opportunities for retirement asset consolidation, and identify appropriate solutions that support overall retirement objectives. By providing personalized guidance and collaborating with other members of the TEMPA team when more complex planning needs arise, you will play a critical role in enhancing participant outcomes, building customer loyalty, and strengthening long-term relationships with Fidelity. The Expertise and Skills You Bring 2+ years of experience in investment sales, financial planning, or a related advisory role FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred; Series 7 and 63 required, with the ability to obtain the Series 65 or 66 within 90 days of hire Strong understanding of financial markets, economic conditions, and industry trends Excellent consultative, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to build trust and drive client engagement Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to identifying client needs and opportunities Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment Openness to coaching, performance fee
