Role Overview The ideal candidate has previous experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales Engineer within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or technology consulting environment. This individual has a proven track record of partnering with Account Executives to conduct technical discovery, scope infrastructure and security solutions, and guide customers through complex technology decisions. This is not a post-sales implementation role. The Solutions Engineer partners directly with Account Executives to design and position technical solutions throughout the sales process and acts as a trusted advisor to prospective customers. Role Focus Primary Objective: Design and support successful customer infrastructure and security solutions while driving technical alignment throughout the sales cycle Approach: Consultative, technical, customer-focused, and solution-oriented engagement Core Skills: Solution architecture, technical discovery, customer relationship management, and proposal development Solution Profile: Managed IT infrastructure, managed security services, Microsoft Azure Public Cloud, Microsoft 365, networking, server, endpoint, and cybersecurity solutions.
