As a Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/d) and part of our engineering team, you will build the backend capabilities that drive real-time business processes and deliver tangible value to customers every day. Join our team in this fully remote position , offering a 40-hour work week and a salary range of 50.000,00 - 60.000,00 Euro gross per year! Your Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services, business logic, and platform capabilities that power real-time business processes. Implement and enhance event-driven functionality, ensuring reliable, scalable, and efficient data and message processing. Build and maintain integrations between the platform and external systems, devices, and applications. Implement workflow-driven solutions and enable seamless interaction between business processes, services, and event streams. Develop scalable APIs and service interfaces that provide reliable access to platform functionality and data. Ensure maintainability, performance, and operational reliability through robust engineering practices and solution design. Work closely with technical leads and engineering teams to translate architectural concepts into high-quality software solutions. Requirements Key Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; alternatively, equivalent professional experience. 4+ years of experience in backend development, ideally within distributed or event-driven system environments. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot
