Your Mission at Yotpo As a Backend Engineer, you build the scalable, resilient engine that powers the Yotpo platform. Your mission is to design and implement high-performance services that handle massive scale, ensuring data integrity and system reliability for thousands of brands. Working within a product team , you will translate complex business logic into robust architectural solutions, ensuring that our infrastructure can scale as fast as our customers do. Key Responsibilities Distributed Systems Design: Design and build microservices and event-driven architectures that are resilient, scalable, and maintainable. You will make critical decisions on synchronous vs. asynchronous communication and data consistency. Data Mastery: Manage the lifecycle of data across our platform. You will design efficient database schemas (SQL & NoSQL) and optimize query performance to handle high-throughput workloads. Operational Excellence: Embrace the "You Build It, You Run It" philosophy. You will own your services in production, implementing observability (logging, tracing, metrics) to detect issues before our customers do.
