College Board - Technology Location: This is a remote role. Candidates who live near CB offices have theoptionof being fully remote or hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office). About the Team The Content Engineering team sits within a multidisciplinarytechnologyteam that integrates design, content, and engineering to deliver consistent, scalable user experiences. We support structured content models, authoring ecosystems, metadata standards, and content workflows that power College Board ’s digital products and websites. Our team partners with platform product leadership and serves a broad community of content creators working in DITA, Drupal, HTML-based structured content, and assessment and item-authoring systems. We aim to unify practices, strengthenthe discipline, and support content systems that are robust, maintainable, and flexible for the future. About the Opportunity As a Senior Content Engineer,you’llhelp define and implement the structured content strategy for the Authentic Work Platform — a complex, evolving digital environment that serves both students and professionals.You’llwork across systems like Drupal andXDocsto design content models, metadata, and authoring frameworks that enable reuse, editorial efficiency, and scalable content delivery. As a key member of a cross-functional team,you’llcollaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to connect structured content with user-facing features, support decoupled rendering, and drive consistency across print and digital experiences.You’llapply systems thinking to content — designing models, taxonomies, and workflows that are structured, scalable, and sustainable.
