ABOUT THE ROLE: As a senior engineer on our platform team, you'll build the platform that lets Orb's engineers — and, increasingly, AI agents — ship quickly and safely. That spans two layers: the infrastructure and developer platform (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, build systems, developer sandboxes and preview environments, and the observability that keeps our on-call humane), and the application platform — the framework primitives and abstractions that let product engineers build quickly and with high quality. This is a founding, high-autonomy role on a small and growing team, with room to shape both the technical direction and how AI-assisted development works at Orb.
