Senior Software Engineer - Platform & Integrations (Backend)

Overview We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems and services for an enterprise SaaS organization. In this role, you will help shape resilient, AI-native software delivery practices while building high-availability services that support modern cloud platforms and customer-facing product experiences. The Platform and Integrations team is building the core services that provide foundational support to the entire Seismic Platform. With autonomy and ownership, you will apply an AI-first development philosophy, cloud-native architectures, and leading-edge technologies to build and maintain features critical to the user experience. Who you are: Extensive experience designing and operating enterprise-grade SaaS systems, distributed services, and cloud operational infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and high availability. 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET, or another major object-oriented programming language, and web services. 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or major RDBMS, including performance tuning, maintenance, schema design, and operational best practices. Proficiency with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API testing, and modern engineering quality practices. Experience with event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, and in-memory data stores such as Redis. Hands-on experience with container technologies and cloud-native platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, etcd, and service mesh architectures. Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including deploying and operating containerized workloads on Kubernetes in production. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
