Senior Software Engineer - Systems

Build reliable, modular, and maintainable software following engineering best practices. Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and senior engineers to deliver high-quality features. Participate in the design and implementation of cloud-native, microservices-based applications. Optimize application performance, database queries, and API response times. Contribute to code reviews and continuously improve code quality. Debug production issues and participate in on-call rotations when required. Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability. Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to deliver software efficiently. Learn and adopt engineering best practices, including security, observability, and performance optimization. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar) to improve developer productivity and code quality. 3–5 years of experience in backend software development. Strong knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) with the ability to write efficient, optimized code. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles. Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services. Good understanding of system design fundamentals and distributed systems concepts. Experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and exposure to NoSQL databases. Familiarity with caching technologies (Redis/Memcached) and messaging systems (Kafk
