Your mission As a Software Engineer in Trade Services, your mission is to build and scale the engine room of Bitpanda. You will own the core execution of every single trade, forging the high-throughput, financially critical backbone of our ecosystem. What you’ll do Building the core engine requires designing and developing scalable, resilient, message-driven services using Java to handle offers, trade requests, and money movement. Ensuring quality involves writing clean and future-proof code with 80%+ unit test coverage, conducting thorough end-to-end and integration testing before deploying into an event-driven microservices architecture. Optimizing execution flows for core trading modules—such as fee calculation, order execution, ledger writing, and wallet synchronization—guarantees total reliability, maintainability, performance, and scalability. Driving
