Junior Web Developer

Listed as a remote role based in Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain. Bavarian Capital is adding a Junior Web Developer to our technical team to support our expanding digital infrastructure. This role is central to maintaining the web interfaces we use to manage our long term partnership with a major Spanish infrastructure group. About the role In this position, you will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of our internal web applications and public facing digital presence. As an entry level member of the team, your focus will be on learning our established coding standards and helping us deliver reliable updates. You will work closely with both the investment and operations teams to translate functional requirements into stable web solutions that support our steady pace of business. What you will do Develop and maintain responsive web components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Assist in the migration of static data into dynamic web dashboards for our infrastructure investment tracking. Conduct thorough testing across different browsers and devices to ensure a consistent user experience. Document technical processes and code changes to help maintain a clear knowledge base for the team. Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot and resolve frontend and backend issues. Implement routine security updates and performance improvements across our web platforms. Support the integration of third party APIs and internal databases into our reporting tools. Review code from other team members to ensure adherence to our firm's internal style guides. Participate in regular technical planning sessions to discuss upcoming interface improvements. What we are looking for A solid understanding of basic web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Basic familiarity with at least one modern framework like React, Vue, or Angular. The ability to write clean, organized code that others can easily read and maintain. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to solving technical problems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration. An interest in learning about the financial sector and long term investment principles. A self disciplined approach to managing tasks and deadlines in a remote setting. The ability to accept feedback professionally and use it to improve your technical craft.
