SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER

Listed as a remote role based in Hours, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. Drop Fake Inc. is a dynamic and innovative game development company passionate about delivering exceptional mobile gaming experiences. We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our talented team! In this role, you will play a critical part in developing new services, tools, and features for our platform, ensuring we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in mobile gaming. About You Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field relevant professional experience 7+ years of professional software development experience Experience with modern game engines such as Unity, Unreal or equivalent Experience writing highly scalable systems Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, TypeScript, and C# Expertise in many different technologies from frontend frameworks to backend storage Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment Passion for gaming and a desire to create immersive experiences for players. Responsibilities Collaborate with game designers to develop and improve new and existing backend game features Architect, develop and maintain backed services and databases to support game operations and player operations Develop front-end interfaces and user experiences for mobile platforms, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by QA testers Optimize game performance and responsiveness across different devices and network conditions DETAILS Full time:- 40 hours per week Salary range: $150K - $170K annually CAD About Us We founded Drop Fake to build a progressive games company defined by autonomy, honesty, and an open, inclusive culture.
